Foundation Annual Events
Chukar Fall Festival
This annual event is a free barbecue for all students and staff usually held the first week of October. The Foundation and the Associated Student Government co-sponsor this "welcome back" party with which features games, entertainment and a dance for everyone.
Orientation for Scholarship Recipients
The orientation session provides information to all scholarship recipients about the Foundation, the awards they received and how they can give back to the Foundation through volunteering their services. The session is held at the beginning of the year and is a required event for all scholarship recipients.
This semi-formal event features a fine dining experience, limited silent auction, select live auction and other special activities. The Gala is usually scheduled the first weekend in November and is the Foundation's largest scholarship fundraiser of the year. Click here to check out the 2019 event information.

Donor & Scholarship Recipient Recognition Dessert
In February, we recognize and acknowledge our scholarship recipients and all our donors and friends who support our scholarship program. Several of our students share the impact of receiving a scholarship and how education has made a difference in their life. The event also includes the announcement of the "Volunteer of the Year" award.
Scholarship Review Night
This event brings community members, staff, faculty, board members and donors together to read and score scholarship applications from students who plan to attend TVCC. The process is a lot of fun and provides friends of the college a deeper understanding of the many challenges students face, especially with financing their education. The Review Night is held in February and includes a delicious meal for all participants.
This annual fundraiser directly supports TVCC music students and always features a stunning performance by the Treasure Valley Symphony. At this special spring concert, members of the community can purchase a table in front of the stage. The reserve table included beverages and select appetizers to enjoy during the evening.
One of the most popular events in the community! This annual tour features some of the most outstanding gardens and outdoor living spaces throughout the Treasure Valley. The self-guided tour includes 5-8 different garden locations, shuttle service, refreshments and special offers at local businesses.
**The Foundation 2019 Garden Tour has been re-scheduled until next year on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
