I came to TVCC in 2013 looking to get a two-year degree in technology,
so that I could get an edge in an expanding industry. I was a little gunshy - I'd
had some bad experiences at another college - but from the beginning, TVCC was a really
friendly and inclusive community. The instructors helped me with my goals, and really
worked with me.
I came to TVCC in 2014. I was at a bit of a crossroads - I needed a
career path lucrative enough it would support me. I didn't know much about technology
- I owned a computer, that was about it - but I really found it was enjoyable. TVCC
fit my needs - I was was able to work and go to school as well. My future then didn't
look too bright - it was a question mark - but now I feel like I have a path that
