TVCC Announces Rebrand Effort
Treasure Valley Community College Announces Rebrand Effort, Invites Community Feedback
Community Survey Open Now to Gather Insights and Build Momentum for TVCC’s Next Chapter
Ontario, OR (February 20, 2025) – Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) is embarking on a comprehensive rebrand effort to strengthen its identity and better serve students and the broader community. As part of this initiative, the college is inviting community members, students, alumni, staff, faculty, and partners to share their thoughts through a short survey designed to shape the future of TVCC’s brand.
“For more than 60 years, TVCC has been a pillar of education and opportunity in the Treasure Valley,” said Dr. Dana Young, college president. “This rebrand is about honoring our legacy while embracing a future that reflects our growth, impact, and commitment to student success. We want to hear from those who make TVCC what it is—our students, faculty, staff, and community members.”
The rebrand will focus on refining TVCC’s visual identity, messaging, and overall brand presence, ensuring it aligns with the college’s mission and the evolving needs of the region. The college encourages the community to participate in the rebrand process by filling out the survey and sharing insights on what makes TVCC unique and how it can continue to grow.

TVCC’s rebrand process will take place in multiple phases. Initial rebrand work, including design and messaging updates, will be completed over the spring and summer of 2025, in partnership with college staff, faculty, students, and administrators. Community members, employees, and students can expect to see rebranded materials beginning in the fall of 2025, with full implementation rolling out over the following years. This phased approach ensures a smooth transition, allowing key materials and assets to be updated cost effectively, thoughtfully, and efficiently.
The college’s current brand holds a strong legacy, with TVCC’s Chukar mascot widely recognized and beloved by students, alumni, staff, faculty, and the broader community. There are no plans to replace the Chukar, which remains a vital part of TVCC’s identity. Over the decades, the college’s logo and colors have evolved, and this rebrand aims to bring greater consistency, thoughtfulness, and community connection to a vibrant legacy brand.
“Our goal is to create a brand that truly represents the heart of TVCC—one that resonates with our students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the greater community,” added Dr. Young. “Your voice matters in this process, and we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their perspectives.”
TVCC has long been a cornerstone of higher education in the region, providing accessible, high-quality education to thousands of students each year. The rebrand effort will build on that strong foundation, ensuring the college remains a welcoming institution for generations to come.
