Information Technology Services
TVCC's Information Technology Department strives to get the newest technology in front of our students. Whether it is classroom upgrades, computer lab upgrades, wifi, or wireless printing we give our students access to the campus's newest technology.
We listen to our students about their technology requests! Periodic student surveys and a Student Technology Committee give our students the opportunity to contribute to the college's future technology purchases.
TVCC students have these technology benefits:
Office 365
All students get Office 365 free! Downloadable on up to five devices. Included with this package is 2TB of cloud storage.
Student Email
A TVCC email address. The TVCC email address is the address to which the college sends official notifications, and is the required mode of e-communication for all students.
Drop-in Computer Labs
Access to three drop-in computer labs in Ontario and one in Caldwell. All these labs have printers for student use and varying hours to fit into the busy student schedule.
Wireless Printing
Students can print easily from their own devices using our wireless printing portal.
Self-Service Password Reset
Students can complete their own password reset for their TVCC account for quick and easy access to our robust TVCC resources.
Help Desk
The IT Help Desk is staffed with technicians dedicated to helping students with their technology needs.
Wireless Network
Treasure Valley Community College wireless network is composed of over 59 access points, allowing for easy Internet access from any building on campus. Access is permitted to all students, faculty, staff of the college. Different access levels with different security requirements are provided through a number of different wireless networks. In order to gain full access, an account is required. For students, faculty, and staff, your TVCC login and password are what you will use to log on to the network.
