During the October 28 Ontario Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, the TVCC Foundation was presented with a $1,000 donation from Kevin Smith. This generous donation will go toward the KONO Fly-In and Air Faire Scholarship which was recently established for the purpose of providing scholarship support to students enrolled in the TVCC Aviation Technology Program.

GED and STEP students experience Food Friday, a collaboration between TVCC and the Oregon State University Extension Service. Students had the opportunity to cook delicious and nutritious low-cost meals which they later shared with their families.

About a dozen TVCC ladies rang in the holiday by participating at a Saturday workshop on wreath making. Pictured are a few staff displaying their final creations.

What does it mean to be a Chukar Booster?
The Chukar Booster Association begins another year serving as the financial back bone and supporting organization for all athletic programs at Treasure Valley Community College. TVCC proudly supports 13 collegiate sports programs. The Chukar Booster Association has disbursed over $600,000 to our athletic programs over the last decade. Fund raised monies from events, donations and membership packages have supported facility improvements to our weight training and cardiovascular facility and assisted in purchasing two coach buses and a state-of-the-art equipment trailer for team travel.

College Choice Registration Starts Dec. 16
TVCC offers local high school students the opportunity to enroll in two college courses
each quarter at a reduced tuition rate. Two weeks prior to the beginning of each term,
students are able to sign up for any of TVCC's classes that still have seats available.
Both online and live classroom classes are eligible for College Choice. The costs
are $45/credit for Oregon residents and $65/credit for out of state residents, plus
the expense of books, if required.
*Additional fees may apply for specific programs such as aviation, welding, and nursing.
