In addition to continued construction on the Career & Technical Education Center,
progress is continuing on the development of a Connector Trail through the TVCC campus.
Last fall, the City of Ontario was awarded a grant for $132,109 for construction of
a trail that will connect a section southwest Ontario.
Construction of the Treasure Valley Connector includes a 10-foot wide, 3/4-mile trail
stretching between the intersection of Southwest Fourth Street and Southwest 14th
Ave and Park Boulevard and Southwest Ninth Street. The trail will be paved and include
curb and gutter.
The trail is a partnership between the city and Treasure Valley Community College.
The college provided the right-of-way that runs along the western edge of the campus,
next to Evergreen Cemetery.
