TVCC Celebrates Black History Month

Treasure Valley Community College will host a Black History Month keynote address entitled “From the Streets to the Stage” by Monti Washington on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

The event begins at 7 p.m. in Weese 110 on the Ontario campus. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend this inspirational event. 
Recognized as "America's Adversity Coach" for his ability to show students how to turn any adversity into real life success, Monti will show you how any student can achieve, overcome, and turn obstacles on campus into real life success.

Washington will share how he overcame adversity in his life to obtain two college degrees and become a state basketball champion, award-winning poet, McDonald’s All-America nominee, nationally-recognized actor and co-founder of non-profit organization Truality.org.
