Sign up here to let us know you plan to drop in anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. to register for your tution-free class. By telling us you plan to attend, we can make sure we have plenty of advisors ready to help to that evening! We also encourage you to contact us to set up an earlier appointment with an advisor by emailing admission@tvcc.cc

Can't make the Open House?

You don't have to wait until Dec. 19th. In fact, the earlier you apply, the more classes you'll have to choose from since classes are already filling for winter term. Winter registration is already open.

Note: TVCC will be closed Dec. 22 - Jan. 1 for the Holiday Break but please send an email to admissions@tvcc.cc during the break and we'll be glad to help. We are open Monday through Friday until Friday, Dec. 21, and then TVCC re-opens after the Holiday Break to serve you in-person in Student Services at 8 a.m. on Jan. 2 , 2019.

New students who have never attended TVCC are eligible for one tution-free class.
Only tuition is waived for the one free class. Fees and textbooks are not included in the offer and are required to be paid.

What if I attended TVCC before but it was a long time ago? This offer is for new students who have never attended TVCC to give them a chance to check us out. We are excited that you may be considering coming back and hope you'll take a look at other financial aid opportunities. Plus, we offer scholarships and you're just in time to apply for a scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year 

  • Any credit class that has a tuition charge and still has open space in the course at the time of registration

At the time of registration, you choose which class you want to designate with the tuition-waiver. After registration is complete, you may not make changes to the selection of which class is eligible for the tuition-waiver.

Yes. Students will need to pay all other fees and purchase any textbooks for the classes. These costs are not part of the tuition-waiver.  If you're taking more than one class, consider applying for financial aid to see if you qualify for more assistance. See our Financial Aid page for information and a link to the free FAFSA financial aid application. 

We're excited to have you at TVCC! And, YES, if you are a new student to TVCC for Winter 2019 we're happy to waive tution for one of your classes. Just stop by TVCC Student Services to complete the Winter 2019 New Student Tuition Waiver form with an advisor before Jan. 4, 2019.
