*Offer limited to any credit class that has a tuition charge and still has open space in the course at the time of registration. Student fees and Universal Fees will also be waived. Other course associated fees will still apply (i.e. Specific Course Fees, Course Supplies, Required Textbooks, etc.)
Not included: Dual-credit high school courses, students currently in high school, Non-credit classes and Center for Business, Workforce and Community Learning classes are not included and are not eligible for this free class offer. Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for a free class?

New high school graduates are eligible for one free class at TVCC.
Only tuition and general college fees are waived for the one free class. Course specific fees, course supplies and textbooks are not included in the offer and are required to be paid.

What if I graduated a few years ago but have not attended TVCC? This offer is for new high school graduates to give them a chance to check us out. We are excited that you may be considering coming back and hope you'll take a look at other financial aid opportunities. Please also send an email to admissions@tvcc.cc and we will help you find additional opportunities.

What classes are included?

Any credit class that has a tuition charge and still has open space in the course at the time of registration
Not included: Dual-credit high school courses, Non-credit classes and Center for Business, Workforce and Community Learning classes are not included and are not eligible for this free class offer.

If I register for more than one class, which one is free?

At the time of registration, you choose which class you want to designate with the for your free class. After registration is complete, you may not make changes to the selection of which class is eligible.

When can I sign up to attend?

You can sign up at anytime, but you must meet with an advisor, be admitted and registered by June 9, 2021. Give us a call at 541-881-5815, email us at admissions@tvcc.cc or stop into the Student Services Center and we'll get you an appointment with an advisor.

What if I can't come in person to register?

Give us a call at 541-881-5815, email us at admissions@tvcc.cc and we'll get you an appointment with an advisor. You can meet over Zoom, over the phone or in-person.

When is the deadline to register for a tuition-free class?

You must be admitted and registered by June 10, 2022 to take advantage of this opportunity for new students.

Are there other fees associated with classes?

Students will need to pay all other any course specific fees and supply costs, as well as purchase any textbooks for the classes. These costs are not part of the free class offer. If you're taking more than one class, consider applying for financial aid to see if you qualify for more assistance. What if I am a new high school graduate but registered before I knew about this opportunity?

We're excited to have you at TVCC! And, YES, if you are a new graduate and already registered for summer classes, we're happy to waive the tuition and general college fees for one of your classes. Just stop by TVCC Student Services to complete the Summer 2021 New Student Course Waiver form with an advisor by June 10, 2022.
