COVID-19 Update

April 8, 2020

All College Services going virtual

While classes are already virtual or online, we are moving all of student services to a virtual environment as well. The TVCC Student Services Center and Success Center will be physically closed to face-to-face meetings, services and test proctoring with the health and safety of our students and staff at the forefront of this decision.

However, we are still here to serve students. All functions of Student Services, Disability Services and Testing Center will be staffed and can be reached via phone and email. Phone or Zoom meetings with staff in Advising, Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions/Recruiting, Disability Services and Testing Center can be facilitated by calling Student Services at 541-881-5815, or by calling the direct department in which you are trying to reach. Students who come to the doors will see signs directing them to call or email. Our computer labs are still open for student access, but they are closed to the general public.

A huge thank you to our Student Services staff who have made this transition and who were meeting with students last week (while observing social distancing)! Given the continuing concerns, we simply could not keep the doors open for walk-in appointments.

All: We want your photos to feature in our Furry friends & Zoom TVCC newsletter section this week. Please send in photos of your of your furry friends helping you Zoom here so we can share some good news and get to know your at-home co-workers.

Feeling stressed?

We have additional information posted on Tele-Health services. Look at what’s available here

# StayHomeStayHealthy

Avoid crowds as much you can. Try to avoid the desire to run out and buy toilet paper, dried beans and flour (unless you really need them of course!) If we all comply with rules, this virus will stop spreading and we can return to our regular schedules and lives!

Campus Buildings

We are OPEN but are limiting public access to campus buildings. Closed building will be posted as closed. Please do not enter these buildings (even if you have keys - and don't ask anyone else to open these buildings for you) without permission since we are trying to limit access to enable us to prioritize cleaning during this time.
