TVCC supports local schools with concert

Each year, the TVCC Symphony presents a concert with a program geared toward young people. Only offering one concert that is open to the public, the Young People's Concert series extends throughout the week before the public concert as TVCC invites local elementary schools for private performances. Including memorable classical pieces such as Gounod's Funeral March of the Marionette and Mozart's Overture to the Magic Flute, the symphony also includes contemporary crowd pleasers such as Phantom of the Opera and Pirates of the Caribbean. The TVCC Faculty Brass Quintet also performed a set while dressed in clown hats and noses. This is a great educational opportunity for local schools that TVCC looks forward to hosting annually.
