Star Wars Actors Invade the Treasure Valley for a Night of Pop Culture

Star Wars will once again invade Treasure Valley Community College for a night of pop culture mania as three popular actors take the stage of the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, Oregon.  On Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 7:30 PM, TVCC will sponsor a free event to the community that will feature the actors who brought to life characters from the original three Star Wars films. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Enter through the front entrance of Four Rivers Cultural Center, as there is a large event happening in the theater that evening.

The Star Wars universe, now owned by the Disney Corporation, is one of the biggest pop culture phenomena in the last five decades.  The event, March 14, will feature Jeremy Bulloch, who played the iconic character of Boba Fett. Joining him will be Paul Blake who portrayed Greedo, a Rodian bounty hunter intent on capturing Han Solo. Rounding out the presenters is Mike Edmonds, who portrayed Logray, the leader of the Ewoks. The event will be moderated by Australian native and touring musician Bonnie Piesse who played Aunt Beru in Episode II – III.

The event will discuss many aspects of the franchise which are relevant to both fans and non-fans of the films.  Actors will discuss the behind-the-scenes aspects of being on the set of the movies and the challenges of working with their colorful costumes.  The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the characters and purchase meet-n-greet packages following the program.
