Advising Day set for Nov. 1

What is Advising Day?  It is an opportunity to meet with your advisor to select your classes for winter term and register online early for the best class selection.

Distance Education students should contact their faculty advisor or Carol Buttice (541-881-5801) for registration information before Advising Day.

Computer labs will be available in Barber Hall for you to register online using your MyTVCC account. Register on campus, at home, or anywhere, but do so on Advising/Early Registration Day for best class selection.

Daytime classes WILL NOT be held. Evening classes starting at 5 p.m. or after will be held as usual.

The degree audit can be found on your MyTVCC student account. To print your audit:

  • Log in, click on "Student" tab and scroll to bottom of page
  • Click "Recalculate Student Progress" (be patient, this process takes a bit)
  • Select your degree requirement
  • Click on "My Advising Worksheet PDF"

Bring a copy of your degree audit with you to Advising Day to help you and your advisor plan your winter term schedule.

Important: Students still owing for fall term need to pay their remaining balance prior to Advising Day to be eligible to register for winter term.

Important: Only Sophomores (anyone with 45 or more credits including fall term) will be able to register from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  After 10 a.m. everyone will have equal opportunity to register.  YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPT TO SHOW CREDIT TOTAL.

To print a copy of your Unofficial Transcript:

  • Go to
  • Click on MyTVCC link (top right corner of homepage)
  • Log in using your user name and password
  • Click on My Records and My Unofficial Transcript (make sure the division is Undergraduate), and print the PDF at the bottom of the page.
