Commercial Drone Certification Class
Register before noon April 20 for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems certification preparation workshop April 23 and 30, at the TVCC Caldwell Center.
With more than 40 years of aviation experience, your instructor Steve Edgar will expertly guide you through ground school and test preparation; covering the 127 specific knowledge concepts you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in when you take your FAA Part 107 Aeronautical Knowledge Certification Test. This live classroom instruction provides you with networking opportunities to meet other UAS operators and to learn from an experienced professional.
The FAA certification test consists of 60 multiple choice questions. This prepâ€�course will provide you with the required materials and aeronautical concepts to ensure a complete understanding of the test topics. You will gain an understanding of all aspects of safe, effective, and legal UAS flight. Cost for the session is $399, and lunch is provided both days.
The FAA test will not be available as part of this course. Participants may register for the test after the class at one of the FAA-approved Knowledge Training Centers; or contact Airâ€�Oâ€�Drome directly at the Caldwell airport. The FAA certification test is a separate fee.
