Who We Are
Kacie Gastanaga of Fruitland, Idaho is a sophomore at TVCC. She is continuing her studies as a Secondary Education Major and hopes to become a college professor in Spanish and Ethnic Studies. Kacie enjoys being involved in various activities on campus as displayed by her previous involvement as ASG Administrative Senator and Vice President of the International Business Club. This year she will be holding positions as ASG President as well as IBC President. She loves traveling, learning about her Basque heritage and other cultures, and meeting new people.
Cody James Baxter from Firth, ID started attending TVCC in 2009. He then left for a mission to Uruguay Montevideo, and is now back to finish his secondary education degree with an emphasis in psychology. He plans to be a teacher, and would like to teach the subjects of Spanish, Psychology, and Biology. He would also like to be a Track and Cross Country coach.
Payton Lee of Fruitland, Idaho is a freshman at TVCC. As of now she is taking general education classes, in the hopes to get into the nursing program, and go on to become a Neonatal Nurse. Payton is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to be involved in ASG, and the activities that are associated with that. This year she has stepped in to hold the position as ASG Secretary.
Jazmyne Hudson is very excited to be serving as the Administrative Senator for TVCC this school year. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, but has moved more than fourteen times during the majority of her childhood. She recently graduated from Ontario High School with a year of college credits completed through TVCC. She is earning her degree in the Oregon Block Transfer and aspires to attend a university with a focus in the area of missionary work. She also plans to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country during her college journey.
Grace Meeker is an incoming freshman at TVCC from Payette, ID. Grace graduated from Fruitland High School and is beginning her academic career as a Pre-Med Major. Her hope is to become a dermatologist and return to her hometown to start her own practice. Outside of academics, her hobbies include working on her familyâ€™s farm, volunteering for non-profit and community organizations, photography, playing music, meeting new people and learning about computer technology.
Sidronio Rangel Vital (known by his buddies as "Sid") is a graduate of Fruitland High School. His most memorable moments in high school were his involvement as Class President his sophomore, junior, and senior year and his involvement in FHS sports. As an incoming freshman at TVCC, Sid is studying to become a Physical Therapist as well as playing for the Chukar Menâ€™s Soccer team. Sidâ€™s other interests include playing guitar, hiking, four-wheeling, and spending time with his family.
