Student Programs Mission
The mission of the Student Programs Department at Treasure Valley Community College is to develop successful leaders who serve as a liaison between the administration and the student body in order to maximize student opportunities and experiences. Student Programs serves all students by including and integrating student opinion in college governance and decisions that affect student rights, freedoms, and responsibilities.
Student Programs Vision Statement
The Student Programs Department at Treasure Valley Community College will support and advocate for the continued interests of students and the fundamental values that characterize the college and surrounding community. They will be an integral partner in assuring the forward progress of students in pursuit of their educational goals while offering diverse and dynamic opportunities for personal, educational, and professional growth and development. The Student Programs Department will be a leader among community colleges in legislative affairs, while maintaining a strong relationship with the faculty in academic related issues, and pursue ongoing student development and positive communication with the administration. Programs, services, and activities will increase student participation and interest while building and strengthening morale and enthusiasm among students.
Student Programs is located in the Weese Building at Treasure Valley Community College. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
