Q: What do I need for my personal computer to work on the new wireless network?
All you need is a 802.11b/g/n wireless network adapter.
Q: When will I get my TVCC email and computer account?
When you complete your student registration, you will be given your username and password with instructions on how to access TVCC systems. If you have issues with your username or password you may contact the IT helpdesk at: http://my.tvcc.cc
Q: What if I need help?
IT Services is committed to helping you make the most of available technology. If you have problems with your email or network account, need help connecting to the network, or using any of our online services, contact the Help Desk by phone or email (541) 881-5777, email@example.com).
Q: Are computer labs available?
TVCC has 3 open computer labs on campus. Most labs are open from 8AM to 5PM or later. Many academic departments also have computers for students to use for work in a particular discipline. Campus wide, TVCC has more than 350 computers dedicated to student use. College computers are loaded with a wide range of commercial software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Internet Explorer, and a variety of course-specific applications.
