Does the Career Center run background checks?
The TVCC Career Center does not offer employee screening processes.

Positions that require a job seeker to pay for materials or pay to apply will not be accepted. The TVCC Career Center reserves the right to remove and refuse job postings at its discretion.

What if I want to post an internship opportunity?
The TVCC Career Center does not post internship opportunities, but the TVCC Center for Business, Workforce, and Community Learning does. Contact them at 541-881-5755 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is there a charge to post a job?
Posting positions with the TVCC Career Center does not include a cost. If you have hired a TVCC student, it would be greatly appreciated if you notify the Career Center for tracking and federal reporting requirements.
Will the Career Center recommend a student for hire?
The Career Center does not recommend candidates for positions. If, in our professional opinion, a candidate closely matches a job description on our records, we will encourage them to apply and offer services to assist them in the job application and interview process.
