Treasure Valley Community College offers an Associate of Arts (Oregon and Idaho Transfer) degree which is a college transfer degree designed for students who intend to transfer for completion of a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university. Completion of this degree can lead to junior standing to any student admitted to a college or university in the Oregon State System of Higher Education.
The Associate of Science Degree is designed for students planning on transferring to a four year institution in order to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. This degree does not block transfer to Oregon colleges but will transfer to Idaho colleges.
The Associate of Applied Science Degree is a program of study which emphasizes professional technical classes and prepares the graduate for entry-level employment in a specific career field.
The science department supports all of these degrees by offering a wide variety of science courses designed to fulfill the needs of students entering various fields of study. We emphasize critical analysis skills, logical problem solving and collaborative group projects.
