Kaplan Pre-Nursing Exam
Testing Dates for 2016-17
The exam is held in the Workforce Training Center Room #3 (WTC-3) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You must be pre-registered before the day of testing in order to take the exam. Exams are offered on the following dates:

- October 7, 2016: 2-5 pm
- November 18, 2016: 2 - 5 pm
- December 8, 2016: 2 - 5 pm
- January 12, 2017: 2 - 5 pm
- February 3, 2017: 2 - 5 pm
- February 6, 2017: 2 - 5 pm
- Caldwell Center : You can make arrangement with a testing center near you if coming to the TVCC Ontario Campus is a hardship.
The Kaplan Pre-Nursing Exam can be taken twice in a school's calendar year. The higher score will count toward your entrance points into the nursing program.

Exam spaces are limited and registrations are processed in the order they are received. Early registration is recommended in order to secure your preferred testing date.
What to Study
The TVCC Nursing Department recommends the Kaplan Study Guide: Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams: Your Complete Guide to Getting into Nursing School, which is available at the TVCC Bookstore.
How much does it cost?
The Pre-Nursing Exam costs a non-refundable $35 paid by money order. Payment is due at least one week prior to the exam, and must be made at the Nursing Department.
Where is the test?
The Pre-Nursing Exam is administered in the Nursing Department's computer lab, Workforce Training Center Room #3.
How long will it take?
The Pre-Nursing Exam will take approximately three hours, which is sufficient complete the exam.
What does the exam cover?
The exam covers the core subjects of Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and Critical Thinking.
Not close to TVCC?
If you do not currently reside near TVCC, the test administration may be arranged at a testing center near you.

In order to be considered for admittance into the program, the nursing department must receive the results of the Kaplan Pre-Nursing Exam scores by the application deadline.
