Adult Education Program

Our Adult Education Program is designed to help students increase their education and onto the next step of their lives. Whether it's completing a GED, increasing employability skills, or preparing for education or vocational programs, Adult Education has classes in various subjects as well as labs for individual study to fit your needs.

Upon obtaining the GED certificate, students may obtain a tuition waiver for one TVCC class.

Students must satisfy other normal admission criteria, maintain satisfactory academic progress and arrange for financial aid for additional classes if needed.

For more information about this opportunity, contact TVCC Adult Education at (541) 881-5865.

Adults who have not received a high school diploma may enroll to take the English as a Second Language, EL/Civics, Adult Basic Skills course, GED and citizenship classes.

This program is designed to prepare students to pass the GED test, which is composed of four subject areas: Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in the program, and students under the age of 18 need special permission from their parents and/or local high schools.
