Compass placement test or TVCC course exams - No appointment needed.
Allow enough time to complete the test before closing times.
Photo id required each time you test. No cell phones.
- Online courses? Distance students must arrange for a proctor.

Did you know... - You must provide photo ID (driver's license, TVCC ID, passport, military ID card, etc.) at each visit.
- It is always better to arrive nearer the opening of the testing session to assure a seat and plenty of time to complete the exam before the closing time.
- The student will be asked to fill out the Test Cover Sheet (TCS) completely each time they take an exam (except for Compass testing).*The first Compass (placement) test is free. If the student chooses to re-test, there is a ten dollar re-test fee which must paid in Student Services before testing.
- All electronic devices must be turned off prior to signing in for testing (cell phones, pagers, and radios), and no headphones are allowed.*If there is a problem with an exam, the student must contact the instructor (after testing) to discuss the issue.
- No food is allowed in the Test Center.
- While testing is in progress, the students may not talk, make excess noise, or otherwise distract the other testers.
